Itinerary – 4 Days Mount Kenya Climb (Naro Moru Up, Sirimon Down)

Day 1.
Nairobi -narumoro met station camp(3000m)

Start at 8am for transfer to narumoro gate via narumoro town.
Lunch at the gate before we start hiking.
Begin tracking through rainforest and Bamboo zone to met station camp…10km,3to 4 hours.dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 2.
Met station-mackinders camp (4200m)


After breakfast treck through moorland and vertical bog into teleki valley with scinic view of the peaks.(5 to 6hours) to mackinders camp for dinner and overnight.


Day 3
Mackinders camp -point lenana(4985m)_ Shipton camp(4200m)- old Moses camp (3300m)

Early morning attempt to the summit (point lenana) via Austrian hut for African sunrise at 6-630am.
After sunrise and photos descend down to Shipton hut for breakfast.after breakfast and breathe taking we descend further down along mackinders valley,likii valley, moorland and dramatic land scape.lunch dinner at the camp.

Day 4
Old Moses-nairobi

After breakfast, walk down for 9km along equitorial rainforest . crossing Equitor line to the north on our exit gate.
Lunch at Nanyuki town before connection for transfer to Nairobi.
