LOITA HILLS TREKKING SAFARI

Loita hills is in rift velly provence. Its almost at the border of Kenya and tanzania and the land is occupied by masai community who are pastrolist. The place is a semi desert, but there are permanent rivers which provide water for the animals. Its bordered by masai mara game reserve on one side and that make easier for wild animals to migrate from masai mara to loita. On the other side we have lake magadi, the biggest soda ash producer in east Africa and many flamingos flock the lake. We have the deepest down fall of great rift of about 300m down which is well seen on top of the escarpment. At the top of the escarpment you can see Mt. Kilimanjaro and lake natron in Tanzania when the weather is clear. The masai community are among the tribes in Kenya who have maintained their traditional culture. The animals you can see while trekking include elephants, foxes, giraffe, black and white columbas monkeys, antelopes, zebras and various bird species. There is also a hot spring where people take shower with natural hot water.
