DAY 1: NAIROBI – OLD MOSES CAMP
Our representative will pick you from your hotel in Nairobi and introduce you to our mountain guide. Depart by 8:00 A.M and travel to Nanyuki town arriving in time for lunch. Afterwards you will meet the rest of the team [porters + Cook] and they will allocate luggage aprorietly and shop for fresh suppliers. Proceed to park entrance for formalities and begin the hike. Follow the track as it winds uphill though the forest which becomes heather and after climbing for about 3 hours you will arrive at sirimon camp [3300 meters above sea level] for dinner and over night.

DAY 2: OLD MOSES CAMP – SHIMPTON CAMP
Breakfast will be served at the camp and then begin the days hike to shipton camp. Follow the track up hill to a junction and turn left; climb for an hour where you will cross the Ontulili River turn right contouring the moor lands to liki north and proceed uphill to Mackinders valley where there are panoramic views of Tereri and Sendeo peaks; lunch en route. You will arrive the camp in the afternoon; the camp offers amazing view of the north faces of Nelion peak and Batian peak. Diner and overnight at the camp.
DAY 3: SHIMPTON CAMP – POINT LENANA – OLD MOSES CAMP
Wake up very early at 3:00 A.M in the morning for long stretch summiting point lenana and descending to sirimon camp. You will be offered a light breakfast and then begin ascending towards Point Lenana [4985m] through a steep stony quarry that cuts through a cliff clearing visible part towards lower Hall Tarns arriving point lenana by sun rise. Mt. Kilimanjaro Kibo and Mawenzi peaks are visible as the day gets clear from this point. Take a few minutes for a photo session and then begin descending to Shimpton camp where you will have breakfast. Descend further down; lunch en route arriving sirimon camp for much needed rest, diner and over night.
DAY 4: OLD MOSES CAMP – NAIROBI
After breakfast descend through the rain forest to the park entrance; check out and you will be transferred to Nanyuki town for lunch; afterwards travel to Nairobi where your adventure ends.
This is the easiest route and most convenient route
DAY 1: NAIROBI –
at 0630hrs the you will be picked up from your accomodation accompanied by your guide with private vehicle to proceed to nanyuki Town where you will have lunch organise your climbing equipment and proceed on your trek. Start the trek after lunch to Sirimon Park gate (2660m). From the gate, we trek up thro magnificent montane forest, bamboo and giant heather zone before reaching the high altitude moorland and our first hut (Old Moses camp 3,300m) for dinner and overnight.This is a gentle trek that takes 3 – 4 hrs gaining an elevation of 680m.
DAY 2: OLD MOSES – SHIPTON CAMP (4200M).
7 hrs, 14km, 900m ascent
After breakfast, follow the track uphill, forking right at the junction. After a water break, you continue on the track crossing Ontulili River before turning right contouring through the Moorland and crossing Liki North River and continue uphill to Mackinders Valley from where there are panoramic views up the valley towards the Shipton Camp.This camp is a surreal setting below the towering peaks and glacier. Resident population is of Rock hyrax and sun birds,

DAY 3: ACCRAMITATION DAY
wake up at 8am for breakfast.walk upto hansbag (4700m)this is to ensure you fully accramatise for easy summiting to point lenana.at Hansbag we can able to see various peaks, oblong lakes in oblong valley.later we descent down through kami turn and mount Kenya Paradise.lunch at shipton as we spare evening hours for resting.
DAY 4: SHIPTON – POINT LENANA(4,985M)- MT KENYA BANDAS (2,900M) 11-12 HRS, 785 ASCENT, 2,085 DESCENT
Kick off at 3.am to reach point Lenana in time for the African Sunrise. The climb starts on frozen scree and continues on a rocky track with some very minor scrambling. with a good moon you barely need a torch. Without a Moon then the pollution-free sky bangs on the ground giving you as goog a view of the Stars as almost anywhere on Earth. The climb takes 3-4 hours and to add to the exhilaration, Mt Kilimanjaro is also visible from the horizon Descend to Minto`s hut for full breakfast. After a short rest descend further to Mt Kenya Bandas along the Gorges valley where you can enjoy good views of the Temple, Lake Michaelson, Mushroom rocks and Giants billiards table Mountain. Dinner and overnight at the Mt Kenya Bandas. Here can enjoy log fires, hot showers and bed at the Bandas
DAY 5: MERU BANDAS- CHOGORIA TOWN.
0700hrs After breakfast, we are picked up by a 4*4 and drive down enjoying the vargin baboo forest along chogoria road.it takes about 2_3hours to chogoria town for early lunch before we start to next destination.

Depart Nairobi for mount Kenya, arriving at castle forest Lodge 2300m, for dinner and overnight in the lodge, spend the afternoon in the lodge where you will have birds walk along the nature trail dinner and overnight in the lodge.

DAY 6: MACKINDERS CAMP – POINT LENANA – MAJORS CAMP
Today you will attempt to point Lenana and the third highest peak on Mount Kenya 4899 meters. Wake up at 0230 A.M., you will have pre-breakfast and then leave to lenana point, arriving at around 0610 A.M, for sunrise on the clear morning Mt Kilimanjaro is clearly visible weather permitting, after descending northern side via simba Cole to majors camp 4210 meters for the full breakfast, lunch, dinner and overnight in the majors campsite.

DAY 7: MAJORS CAMP – NAIROBI
After breakfast leaves the camp through west marania campsite to road head on the Timau trail for lunch and then connect transfer to Nanyuki town, stay in the hotel on a Full board basis.
